“Down Syndrome SA has been an important part of the South Australian community for over 40 years. We are delighted to be assisting with funding to purchase essential office equipment that will aid development of the organisation’s clients,” Chairman of The Honda Foundation, Mr. Stephen Collins said.
Established in 1974, Down Syndrome SA provides education programs, social experiences and support networks to create an inclusive environment where individuals with Down Syndrome are given equal opportunities in society.
The Honda Foundation’s donation will be used to provide participants of Down Syndrome SA’s Work Skills Program with desktop computers, a laminator, a binder and office programs to assist in providing work experience for participants.
Down Syndrome SA CEO, Maureen Lawlor, said the computers and office equipment funded by the Honda Foundation are wonderful gifts that will enable Down Syndrome SA to provide meaningful employment opportunities to their clients. “

Down Syndrome South Australia Work Skills Program
The Honda Foundation and Dave Potter Honda have come together to support the Down Syndrome South Australia’s (SA) Work Skills Program by donating $5,500 to purchase much needed equipment.
