Melanoma Institute Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that pioneers advances in melanoma research and treatment for 1,500 melanoma patients each year. Based in Syndey, Melanoma Institute Australia is dedicated to preventing and curing melanoma through innovative, world-class research, treatment and education programs.
The Honda Foundation’s donation will provide Melanoma Institute Australia with an ImpediMed, a much-needed medical scanning device that successfully detects cases of lympheodema, a common side effect of surgery or radiation during cancer treatment.
Melanoma Institute Australia CEO, Carole Renouf, said the institute is incredibly grateful to The Honda Foundation for its philanthropic support.
